Shrewsbury Town defender Aaron Pierre is wanted by Championship duo Blackburn and Birmingham City.
Pierre is widely regarded as one of the best centre-halves outside the top two divisions and teams higher up the ladder are ready to make a move for him when the transfer window reopens later this summer.
Blackburn and Birmingham are in the market for defensive players this summer and Pierre is on their radar.

The 27-year-old was Shrewsbury’s stand-out performer this season as he cleaned up in the club’s end of season of awards with the defender winning Player of the Season, Players’ Player of the Season as well as goal of the season for the winner in the FA Cup victory over Bristol City.
The former Fulham youngster played a key role in their FA Cup run, including taking Liverpool to a replay.
Pierre scored four goals in 37 appearances in all competitions this term after the campaign was prematurely ended due to CO-VID 19.
Shrewsbury are bracing themselves for interest in Pierre this summer and the League One club face a battle to keep hold of the Grenada international.
